Tonight should have been a nice, long, boring night full of study.Having exams in half a month, I guess I do need to study eventually. Not tonight though. A study night quickly turned into an evening around the bonfire..I mean "fire barrel. As my dear friend Pindar puts it, "It's actually a fire barrel, not a bonfire, gees guys". Our bad.
Now that I'm home I can appreciate the evening for what it was, a chance to relax with a few friends and simply enjoy the outside. The fresh air and company made the night, not to mention Cat's crazy ramblings about anything and EVERYTHING that comes into her head. Not to mention, Gemma, that woman lights up a room whenever she walks in, even managing to up stage the fire :-) The two of them did get a little carried away with the fire though, we were all lucky to come out of the evening intact. Note to Pindar: DO NOT LEAVE THEM ALONE WITH THE FIRE AND FLAMMABLE OBJECTS!. They enjoyed burning things waaaay too much, deep down, everyones a pyro.
In Gemma's words "FIRE RATS"... need i say more
There you go darlings, you have a mention, and here's another one; thank you for the beautiful night with lovely friends that make you feel like family.
Both the fire and the company have kept me warm this evening. Right now friends are the answer to everything, they keep me going when everything piles up and it feels as though you can never keep up. They keep me going.
Pindar and Kat enjoying the moonlight!
Tonight though, all I had to worry about was how well cooked my marshmallow was.
