Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd. His skin was pale and his eye was odd.

So what did you guys do today?? Have you guessed what I did?
Sweeny Todd, the demon barber of fleet street, the musical put on by NOVA theatre company. Performing tonight was my ever beautiful friend Miss Wicks. Also known as Becky O'Toole the best whore on Fleet Street. A must see for anyone who enjoys demon barbers, crazy ladies and pies. Their Sweeney may not be Johnny Depp but give him a go, it'll be worth it.
It was a great night to catch up with friends, enjoy the warm company, not to mention the warm heated theatre.
As I live my life in the confines of my study, head bent over molecular biology textbooks and university lectures, it was a nice change to get out of the house. Mind you the guilt of missing a few hours to revise plasmid biology and mathematical statistics weighs heavy in my mind. But we all need to chill sometimes. The evening was spent with some of the best people in my life at this moment, and hopefully for many more moments to come.
Mr Ryan and I put our best face forward
The ever dashing Ryan, always beautiful Claire and ever loving Tegan; all of them with the remarkable ability to remind me that every once in a while, you've got to remember to have fun, let loose, yell out of the car loudly, smile and wave at new people and wear your favorite heels without any inhibitions.  I didn't wear the favourite heels tonight but they were pretty close, my good old Tony Bianco's keeping me runway ready and on my toes all night. The musical was great, amateur theatre, no matter what level is a great thing to be apart of either on stage or in the audience, a great way to meet people, get out of the house and simply enjoy yourself.
SMILE! No, Tegan, I said smiiiile!
I think with the four of us though, the night was made even better, a night with good company can turn a flop into a runaway success. Tomorrow it will be back to the salt mines, back to days full of textbooks, words we cannot understand, theories we have to memorize and exams were are not prepared for. But tonight is was great company all round for the tale of Sweeney Todd.

I'd also like to think Miss Wicks liked the after show treatment.

So until next time my lovelies try and keep warm as winter crawls closer to us and rememeber to beeeeee happy.
Good night lovelies
